The Kosovo Credit Guarantee Fund (KCGF) is pleased to announce that five years have passed since the approval of the first credit guarantees. Through credit guarantee schemes, the Fund has contributed to improving the performance of MSMEs through investments made from guaranteed loans, as well as facilitating access to finance, thereby supporting economic development through business growth, creativity, and innovation.
Today, we also recall the cooperation with one of the first banks through which the first guaranteed loans were issued — the Bank for Business; on which occasion the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Arton Celina, stated:
“Over five years, the cooperation between the Bank for Business and the Kosovo Credit Guarantee Fund has contributed to the fulfillment of our overall mission as a bank, which is the support of MSME businesses in the country. We consider these businesses as the main drivers of economic development and job creation in Kosovo; therefore, through the Kosovo Credit Guarantee Fund, businesses have directly benefited by having easier access to finance. The partnership between BPB and the Kosovo Credit Guarantee Fund has proven to be a very useful and successful cooperation, within which we have expanded collaboration through new limits in windows for agro-businesses, the economic recovery window, and most recently the start-up business window.”
On its 5th anniversary, the Bank for Business extends congratulations to the Kosovo Credit Guarantee Fund, assuring that our cooperation will continue to expand in the future, in line with our overall mission.
Many more years toward new plans and collaborations. Congratulations!
The Kosovo Credit Guarantee Fund welcomes cooperation with financial institutions in Kosovo and proudly holds its place as a significant factor in the economic development of the Republic of Kosovo.
